Trick or Treat!

Plush loves all things cos­tumey.  Plush loves candy.  And, more than just about any­thing, Plush loves giv­ing treats to strangers.  So you can just imag­ine how ga-ga we get around here every year when Hallowe’en rolls around!

This year, we’re mark­ing our favorite time of year with a lit­tle con­test.  We’ve stuffed as many Hallowe’en treats as we can man­age into one of our “Got-it!” re-useable bags (made right here in East Van!), and now we’re leav­ing the rest to you!  Drop by the shop (4296 Main Street) on or before 4:00 p.m. on Octo­ber 29th, and take a guess at just how much one of these amaz­ing lit­tle bags can hold.

The entry with the best guess wins a bag­ful of locally made good­ies val­ued at over one hun­dred dol­lars!  The prize includes the fol­low­ing hand­made treats:  One 4″ “Grim Bunny” pouch from Kukubee, a Sugar and Spice soy can­dle, five Hallowe’en mag­nets, a pair of Melissa Abram pony­tail hold­ers with creepy skulls, two Hallowe’en cards by local paper artist Lock­ette, a nee­dle felted pump­kin from Blush­ing Lotus, one light switch plate with sugar skulls, one Figo kit, and, of course, your very own set of Got-it! bags.

HALLOWE’EN CONTEST UPDATE

Con­grat­u­la­tions to local 10 year-old genius Yas­mine, who used some impres­sive math skills to win the con­test!  There were 271 good­ies in the “Got it!” bag, mak­ing Yasmine’s guess of 278 the closest.
