Vancouver Mini Maker Faire

Van­cou­ver Mini Maker Faire is a two-day cel­e­bra­tion of mak­ing and cre­at­ing.  Plush will be there host­ing a DIY craft sta­tion, as will many of your other favorite DIY­ers (keep an eye out for hands-on activ­i­ties from Spool of Thread, The Fraser Val­ley Knit­ting Guild, MightyUgly.com, and Sci­ence World, among oth­ers). And just so we don’t have you think­ing that Maker Faire is dom­i­nated by all things warm and fuzzy, we should also men­tion that some of the fea­tures include pyrotech­nics, kinetic sculp­tures, and 3d print­ers that can print them­selves.  Oh, and robots.

Plush is look­ing for vol­un­teers to help us make bot­tle cap pen­dants and mag­nets with atten­dees (no craft­ing expe­ri­ence is required. Seri­ously, none.). Help­ing us out for a cou­ple of hours will get you admis­sion to Maker Faire for both days — win-win all-around! Please email us if you’re inter­ested in help­ing out.
